Cestoball

Dynamic Team Sport

Cestoball is a dynamic and skill-based team sport that originated in Argentina in 1897. It was created by Enrique Romero Brest, a physical education pioneer, with the aim of promoting teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness among students. The game is played between two teams, and the main objective is to score points by throwing the ball into a basket (cesto) placed on a pole.

Unlike basketball, players are not allowed to dribble the ball. Instead, they must pass it to teammates to advance across the court. This makes cestoball a highly cooperative sport that emphasizes passing skills, coordination, strategy, and teamwork.
